  • description: I found this Generac XG8000e on Facebook Marketplace. The generator runs, but not very well. The seller tried to fix it and only made it worse. He gave up and practically gave it away. How bad can it be? It looks to be in good condition and has low hours according to the engine clock. Harbor Freight changed the recipe. The bottle previously stated "NON-CORROSIVE". Now it says "CORROSIVE", "do not user on Aluminum". It now damages most carburetors. Recently I have been using Simple Green PRO HD with good results.
