  • description: Last video we discovered the engine was siezed and full of water. After a lot of work we got the engine rotating and the valves moving again, but the damage was extensive. Although fixable, it did not make sense to proceed with the original 5hp Briggs flat head engine. Today we will fit the new engine with an upgraded torque converter and get the mounting squared away, make a few repairs and prep for reassembly. Harbor Freight changed the recipe. The bottle previously stated "NON-CORROSIVE". Now it says "CORROSIVE", "do not user on Aluminum". It now damages most carburetors.
